The Special Dinner will easily feed two people and is a bargain. The Chile rellenos are exceptional and try the guacamole regional for an appetizer or even a vegan meal. Wonderful!
Went on a Sunday afternoon as we drove through town, everyone in Morganton was there too. Service was attentive. Chips and salsa were good, they do have a salsa bar. It took almost 30 minutes for our food to come out which is way too long at a Mexican restaurant in my opinion. Food was good once it got there but it just took way too long. I imagine that the kitchen is too small to support such a large restaurant which is why we had such a delay (the place is huge).
Good food at a reasonable price. Sure Las Salsas down the street is better, but it's quiet here. Don't have to worry about seeing people I know when I go out to eat Mexican in my pajamas.
I have been to many Mexican Restaurants in many States. This is one of the best. Service is excellent. If you visit more than two or three times, the chances are good that you will be remembered and welcomed back as an old friend.
I haven't eaten here yet but have a comment. I've heard great things about this place. The only reason I know it exists is because we love Abele's next door. I see comments from management about 5 star ratings, but no responses from the bad reviews.
