What an awesome town with awesome helpful police. Stopped through town today after a trip to Elk River falls. Had dinner at an amazing restaurant, only to realize I left my light on inside my car. No jumper cables and stuck out of town. A local suggested we call the cops to help. I was in shock. In Charlotte they do not help unless someone is injured or there is a child in danger. Sure enough, an officer showed up and jumped off my car. He also mentioned that they are a small town and like to help people. I had to hug him when he was done helping. So grateful small southern towns still exist. That charm and decency still reside somewhere. Thank you so much!!!!
