This was one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed in. The carpeting was filthy and the rooms were dirty. If I wasn't so tired we would have left. Do NOT stay here!!

I was an evacuate from FL due to Hurricane Irma! I was Overcharged for extra nights & The manager, Amber at the Morganton Sleep Inn refused to refund me. Denied the extra charge & didn't even look at the computer to see if there was an error in the system. Very Rude & Disrespectful! The room however was very nice. It was clean & smelled fresh. I had no problems with any other employee there all of the staff was very friendly except for The Manager, Amber.

The only good thing about the room itself was the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was pathetic, there's no wonder why there are no photos of the bathrooms on the website. We stayed in one room for one night and we had family staying in another room. Both bathrooms had sliding pocket doors that didn't lock and had a space under the door so there was little to no privacy. There wasn't a tub only a shower and it would have fit a hobbit comfortably. My husband is 5'7" and he was almost too tall for it. I only recommend this hotel if you only need a place to sleep. We spent $100 on this room and it was worth maybe half of that.. And to think we went with this hotel because it had better reviews.

The couple in the room next to me argued all night....I called to front desk to complain but that didn't stop it. My bathroom door was hard to close and even harder to open. I was glad I was alone because I left the bathroom door open the rest of my stay. Had too slam the door to the room or it wouldn't stay closed. The room was clean but in the armoir was a man's dress shirt buttoned around a pillow. I wasn't sure why it was there. I didn't touch it or move it. The drink machine didn't give change. The breakfast they say they have I didn't see it at all. They had coffee and that was all I saw. The web page says they have breakfast but I didn't even see a continental breakfast.

Terrible experience. The hotel it's self was fine, except there is no elevator to the second floor, and the parking lot is tiny. There is no room for large vehicles, and if you park in the neighboring hotel, they threaten to tow you. They share a pool apparently, but not parking? The hotel front desk staff have no idea what they are doing. They put a hold on my account for three nights, even though I was only staying for two, and told me it would only be for one. Then they could not correct it. Now today, I was told by my bank that my account has been over drafted because there is an extra mysterious charge on my account for 130.26 by sleep inn on top of the charges for the room. When I called the hotel, they told me they do not see any such charge, and there is nothing that they can do. I will have to call back tomorrow while the manager is there. So frustrating! They also charged me $10 per night for a roll away that did not even fit in the room that they did not tell me they would charge for. And charged me all of the taxes and fees on that 10 dollars! So I unknowingly paid an extra 11.88 per night on a bed that we couldn't even use! I have stayed in many many many hotels, and have never encountered such incompetence. Fast forward to the next day. My account is still over drawn, and when I called to get this resolved, the manager would not even let me get the get the words out of my mouth before saying that the charge was not from them, which it clearly is, and then she claimed that I was cussing at her because I called her babe, and hung up on me. I feel I have every right to be upset. Their incompetance caused all kinds of issues for me, but last time I checked, babe was not a cuss words, and an extra $130 charge for such a crappy experience would piss anyone off! And now they are claiming that I was told about the 10 extra charge for the roll away. Liars, and rotten people. The managers name is Amber. Beware!
