This is the best library around. The staff is helpful and friendly. The collection, for a city of this size, is excellent. They are also willing to find a copy of a book you want or might need from their other branches within 24 hours. The Morganton Library offers programs for children, adolescents and adults. It also offers the county's only free computer access.
The library staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They provide much needed resources to the local community. The library as a physical building is one of my favorite places to go read or surf the Internet.
I visited this pretty location/public library this morning. Very nice location downtown. The property is set perfectly downtown; big lawn; space to think. The staff was very helpful and curteous. Using the computer to write documents and printing was simplified. Quiet, efficient, pretty and safe downtown. I recommend this library.
Chris Crawley is spot-on regarding the noise. The staff here has somehow forgot the age-old custom of keeping the quiet. The gossip is like a candle in a cave. Guess it's the price of progress. Beautiful facility though.
I really love this library! Coming from Charlotte the libraries are pretty loud and always quiet so this small town library was just refreshing. I love the building, I love that the kids area is downstairs. I also think the staff is super nice especially compared to a lot of libraries I've been to!
