I recently took my granddaughter there late one Sunday evening and we received the same great care. I would highly recommend this urgent care center!
I'm not insured, treated like trash and was essentially robbed of my first visit cost. The Dr. told me to continue ineffective over the counter treatment that I had been doing for days, and wrote me a prescription that costed almost 400$ after already taking my 130$ for what was literally 3 minutes of useless advice. If you're not insured, don't get sick in morganton.
I had a very good experience here. It was quick, but it wasn't busy and I did call ahead. I was already in the system since I have gone to the CHCS many times, so that sped up the process also. My issue wasn't entirely too huge, but the medication given was great and worked very well. I've heard either GREAT or HORRIBLE stories about this place. As for my experience, I personally would go back.
Professional, competent, and caring. I felt horrible, and absolutely couldn't have asked for nicer, more compassionate individuals to take care of me. And those who have said ugly things about being treated badly because of being uninsured? The caregivers in the treatment area had NO IDEA as to whether or not I had insurance; that's sour grapes for NO REASON! I would go back to this Urgent Care in a minute! Thank you all so much; I felt better within just a few hours!
My experience here was awful. I took my 1 year old daughter here on Saturday night while I was out of town because I knew she was sick, I knew something was wrong. Those motherly instincts. I was brushed off and told it was nothing and she'd be fine. As soon as we got home I took her to her pediatrician and found out she has strep. She could have felt better days ago had the people working here actually bothered to take care of her. On top of that, I had to pay $50 for them to tell me it's nothing when it was actually something. Worst experience ever.
I was seen by this facility on a holiday weekend a while back and I received fast, excellent care. I was pleased that I went in, had a very brief wait before being called back to the exam room and then seen a knowledgeable professional. I wished that more offices realize that my time is important too. I was impressed by the whole experience. The atmosphere and staff were very friendly.
