After almost 30 minutes, my turn. My phone is dead. I knew it before I went in, but use this for work as my only number and am traveling this weekend so need this phone! I am out of the LG warranty (of course) but luckily have the insurance by Assurion through ATT. My thought at the store was to get a loaner or replacement - no dice.

Let me preface this by saying that if you were to look up my reviews on Google, Trip Advisor, or my business blog (Food For Thought on Blogger) anywhere I give feedback - it's almost always 4-5 star positive; very few negatives. I am hometown proud and look for reasons to like and recommend Morganton businesses - not dislike or condemn them.
It's slim but here's the good. James is a nice guy. He's been there since I got my phone - so 1.5 - 2 years tenure. Friendly. Seems like he cares. Unfortunately, they don't give him the tools to succeed. He has potential.
Att customer service in morganton is terrible. In fact att customer service is terrible period. I called the 1-800 number to order a new sim card and they told me to go to my local store and get one otherwise I was.looking at 4-6 business days to receive it in the mail. So I go to my local store and they have been waiting 2 weeks for their delivery of sim cards. If the local store can't get any in 2 weeks, how long is it gonna really take by mail? Meanwhile I have no service and will have to travel out of town and pray that one of their other stores has one.
Downgraded a 3 star to a 1 - because 0 was not an option. TERRIBLE service here. Phone mailbox is always full and no one picks up. Any issues, you have to go into the store (again and again and again) and hear the same old BS of why whatever they promised was not going to happen.
Price was good for a bundle but the data ATT Uverse here is TERRIBLE: slow, on/off connections, does not hit even the sorry benchmarks promised at 12/1 when other providers are advertising 60-100/X

No inventory, no loaners, slow service due to being under staffed - no thanks. Not going back...
I went in looking for the latest Samsung Note to upgrade from my Note III. James was the sales rep and the same one that set me up for my home system: VOIP / data / security / Direct TV - which has also been a disaster. Anyway back to the phone...James informs me that LG is offering a special with a new V10. 64GB sim card, free 2nd battery and charger, and a Visa rewards card. Sounds great. Signed up, renewed contract. It's been 3+ months and no rewards...nothing. Numerous phone calls - no answer + voice mail full. Two visits back to the store - excuses. Called LG...never heard of me.
Today was my 3rd and final attempt to like and favorably rate this store. No luck. Arrived at 10:30am this morning to 3 people ahead of me, then 3 behind me. One guy (James) working the counter. Four people behind me and one in front - left without being helped. As a Sales Manager & trainer, this is a customer service DISASTER.
Poorly trained. Over commit and under deliver.
Absolutely awful customer service for their internet service they offer. It's taken them 3 months to TRY and correct an issue where we're being billed for a service we no longer have and we're being billed 3 times what we agreed to pay. We have them because we have no choice and they know that so I truly feel like they know they can take advantage of us.. buyer beware. If charter is available.. go with them.
Store mailbox is frequently full and when they picked up today, I was asked to call back later even though I told them the voice mail was full and no was answering.
This place needs their charter / franchise revoked for damaging the AT&T name. Truly useless.
Sales staff is good, though seemed like training was still needed (manager had to intervene a lot).
We are a the AT&T shop and the lady trying to help us is very patient and helpful
I have Uverse. The company has no regard for service. The outdated equipment is constantly failing and the internet speeds are weak. I'm on the fourth modem in three years and four months and it's broken too. There is a 4 day wait to get it fixed. They have to know that their equipment is faulty. I'm gonna find another way!
